These types of pool lights were a very popular lighting choice at one point. Halogen lights are great for in-ground pools and above ground pools and will light the entirety of your pool well. But this option isn’t the best in terms of energy efficiency and has limited color options.
You can also find fiber optic pool lights in an array of color choices and they can be installed easily under water and around your pool. Bulbs are kept in a dry box above the pool so switching them out is relatively easy. But fiber optic bulbs need a fan to keep them cool.
